From the cozy atmosphere to the food everything was great! We were greeted by the hostess and brought right to our table where are server was waiting. The server immediately gave us the menu and gave us a few minutes to decide on drinks and appetizers. We ordered the duck egg rolls and pop tarts and a blueberry mojito and a dirty martini. The drinks and appetizers were fresh,hot and delicious. For dinner we ordered surf and turf and Wagu Steak with stuffed mushrooms. Everything was server to our liking. The steaks were cooked medium and were perfect and the lobster was super tender.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal from the drinks, the meal and the service. We had the waygu beef pop tarts, Chilean sea bass, pork shank, and lemon curd for dessert. Our martinis were shaken at the table and were both delicious. The server was friendly, gracious and attentive. We can't wait to come back again!
I challenge you to find a pub/restaurant with a better atmosphere and phenomenal customer service. The food and drinks were exactly what I needed to enjoy my stay in the Chicago and area. Many thanks for a wonderful experience and such good food! I didn't take a picture - the steak and potato sandwich was so good! I also enjoyed a "Rye Go Home" and "A5 Washed & Smoked Old Fashion"... totally worth it! Thank you Nick and Dave for a fantastic first visit!!!
Visited this steakhouse with friends last week and had a fantastic time. The atmosphere is very nice and quiet, which makes it the perfect place to sit, chat, and really enjoy the evening. I ordered the Japanese Wagyu, and it was the best steak I’ve ever had in my life. A truly great dining experience. Highly recommend!
10/10 experience. Came here for my birthday! We had never been here before but it looked like a great spot, and we did not leave disappointed! The martinis are definitely the star of the show. They bring the shaker to the table and pour them at the table. Every single one we tried was incredible! They’re SUPER strong though, so don’t drink too many! The atmosphere is wonderful with the fire places and the cozy tables. Each dish we got was beautifully plated and tasted as good as it looks. Our server was always one step ahead and very friendly! I couldn’t recommend this place enough!
Make reservations. Dim lighting, great atmosphere. You're not rushed, steaks melt in your mouth like butter. Definitely get the whiskey glazed carrots. The Waygu Wellington Poptarts are another must have appetizer.
First and foremost the aesthetic is incredible. It’s like…. Western moody elegant? So hard to describe. I got the ribeye and my husband got the wagyu cheeseburger. By the smell of this place, I imagine there isn’t a bad thing on the menu.
Had a wonderful night out with some friends. I ordered the Ricotta Tortellacci, the Honey Dew Me Martini, as well as the Mother Dearest. Everything was fresh and incredibly delicious! The outdoor seating was very comfortable, and our experience with our waiter Chris made it a 10/10 for the night!
To start off on this amazing place, the service was out standing. Kind people, and they were quick on stuff. The food was amazing something I've never tasted before. Even made me love mushrooms even more. I can't stand how beautiful the place was, the smell of wood, and the fire places just puts the cherry on top. Even the bathrooms were clean with some humor on the signs. Love this place and definitely will come back here.
Oh my God!! Seriously if this place has a 10 star rating it would be too low. My wife and I came here for our anniversary was welcomed by all and acknowledged that multiple times. Food and cocktails are exceptional from the bread and butter, sausage pepper flat bread, salmon and pasta to the whisky drinks. Thank you for making our experience grand. Looking forward to coming back with our family.
